Format and duration

Whether it’s a show teaser, a social media clip, or a promotional film for a company or organisation: the format is short, and it needs to be built around a single idea. So we start by asking you questions about your audience and your message, before we discuss shots or music.

The aim is for the piece to last between thirty seconds and three minutes. Any longer, and you lose the audience’s attention; any shorter, and you don’t have time to get your point across. The duration is decided at the script stage.

How we produce

A minimal pre-production process: a discussion, a one-page synopsis, a shot list, and a location scout if the venue is unfamiliar. Then a full or half day of filming using a cinema-style camera, clean audio and lighting suited to the venue. This is followed by editing, including colour grading, a basic mix, and up to three rounds of revisions.

For a corporate video, we film on your premises, with your teams, rather than in a studio. Footage of a workshop, a construction site or a real office is more authentic than any set.

Formats supplied

A high-definition master file, available in a range of useful formats: landscape for the website and YouTube, portrait or square for Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. Subtitles available on request, in French or in the languages of your audiences. The source files are archived by us for one year.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a corporate video cost?

From 800 CHF for a video edited using your existing footage (sorting, selection and basic editing). If filming is required, expect to pay 1,400 CHF for a half-day on location plus editing. A promotional film featuring interviews, multiple locations and colour grading usually costs between 2,000 and 5,000 CHF. The quote will detail each item of cost prior to filming.

Do I need to write a script before contacting you?

No. Tell us about your objective and your target audience, and we’ll work with you to write the synopsis. If you already have a script or a storyboard, we’ll use that as a basis.

How long does it take from filming to delivery?

Around thirty days for a full-length film, one to two weeks for a teaser. A shorter turnaround time is factored into the quote.

Can you use existing images?

Yes, provided we know the source and the rights involved. We are happy to incorporate archive footage, photographs or previous recordings into the edit.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A deposit of 20 per cent of the invoice total is required to confirm the order and secure the date. We will reserve the date as soon as we receive this deposit. The balance is payable on delivery.
