What we photograph
A photo report serves two purposes: the day after, for the press and social media, and in the years to come, to tell the story of what happened. We therefore photograph the planned highlights, but also the behind-the-scenes action, the faces of the audience and the details that convey the scale of the event.
We use available light wherever possible. A flash at an exhibition opening or during a speech alters the atmosphere and draws attention; we reserve its use for situations where there is no other option.
Events, conferences, festivals
Village festivals, championships, bonfires, general meetings, prize-giving ceremonies, concerts: every event has its own rhythm, and we follow it from set-up to tidying up, if the brief requires it. For a conference, we cover the speakers, the venue and the conversations during breaks, which often yield the best shots.
At a festival lasting several days, we provide an initial selection each evening so that the communications team can publish it straight away.
Delivery
Sorting, general editing (exposure, colour, cropping), followed by delivery of an online gallery or a folder of files, in high definition and web-optimised versions. You will generally receive between 80 and 250 images, depending on the duration of the event. Standard turnaround time: ten days, with a quick selection available the following day if required.
A photo report can easily be combined with a video shoot or a teaser, covering the same event and featuring the same team.
