Championnat du monde des tracassets — Reportage photo
A photo report on the World Tracassets Championship in Épesses, aiming to capture the atmosphere, the decorated vehicles and the energy of the event.

I produced this feature with my production company, INV Prod, at the World Tracassets Championship in Épesses, in the Lavaux region. The event takes place in the heart of the terraced vineyards and brings together tracassets – those small vineyard vehicles decorated for the occasion – in a lively, festive atmosphere.
I wanted to capture the whole day: the vehicles, the participants, the crowd, the details, the passing moments, and the atmosphere of the village. Beyond the race itself, I was seeking to capture the energy of the day and the local attachment to this tradition.
Outdoors, I adapted to the pace of the event, the movement of people, the natural light and the unexpected, to produce a series of images that are vibrant and true to the atmosphere of Lavaux.
Objective
To capture the event and convey its atmosphere through a comprehensive photo reportage.
Result
A series of event photographs showing the racecar drivers, the participants, the spectators, the highlights of the event and the unique atmosphere of Lavaux.
Lessons learnt
Outdoor photo reportage: fast-paced, lots of movement, and always on the lookout for spontaneous moments.

Photos taken during the World Tracassets Championship in Épesses. I wanted to document the event as a whole: the vehicles, the participants, the spectators, the details and the atmosphere in the village.
I photographed as the event unfolded, outdoors, keeping an eye out for spontaneous moments and scenes that captured the energy of the day.
