Les Extraordinaires — Entre cordes et confiance
A mini-documentary produced entirely by myself for CAPStv, from filming to the final edit.
Les Extraordinaires — Between Ropes and Trust is a mini-documentary I made for CAPStv.
I did everything myself: filming, framing, sound recording, editing and finalisation. Following the subject in the field, capturing the right moments, then crafting a clear narrative during editing.
The challenge was to keep the format short, personal and accessible, without overloading it. The editing had to allow the images to breathe, give the people filmed their due and bring out the atmosphere of the moment.
Objective
To produce a comprehensive, straightforward and heartfelt mini-documentary.
Lessons learnt
To manage the entire production process of a mini-documentary single-handedly: filming, sound, pacing, choice of shots and narrative structure during editing.
