Multi-camera recording of *La Barque des 100 voix*, a contemporary dance performance by the Nzinga Association, at the Centre culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne. A single performance, no second take: several cameras cover the stage simultaneously, ranging from wide shots that capture the entire group to close-ups of the performers.
The stage lighting is high-contrast, with deep blacks and very brightly lit areas. The camera settings and colour grading preserve these contrasts as the audience saw them, without brightening the shadows. The editing follows the rhythm of the choreography: cuts are timed to the ensemble movements and allow the solos to breathe.
A year later, the same show was the subject of a portrait shoot and a photo feature, presented as part of the project ‘La Barque des 100 voix, photo feature’.
